Girls' and Women's Soccer

Come and join the boom in girls' and women's soccer at Thunder FC!

We take all females who wish to play soccer, at all fitness levels and ages from under 10 to 50 years plus. Thunder FC is a supportive club for women and girls and hopes to introduce more females to the world's most popular sport in 2007. Come alone or bring your friends - everybody's welcome! We are not concerned whether or not you have soccer skills. The main aim is to have players who are enthusiastic and wish to participate as team players. You will develop your skills, fitness and confidence as you go and make new friends.

Thunder FC girls' and women's teams play in the North Western Sydney Women's Soccer (NWSWS) competition. NWSWS runs women's competitions in all age groups from Under 10 to All Age. In 2006 our new Under 14s team came second in the Premiership and went on to win the Grand Final in their first year of soccer ! (View photo). In 2007 we had a total of 8 girls' and women's teams, up from 3 in 2006. Where better to join a female team than Thunder FC!
