Thornleigh Thunder FC plays in the highly competitive GHFA Premier League competition. We believe that all our junior players should aspire to be selected in our Premier League squad once they are old enough to compete at a senior level.
We seek the support of the local community to come and cheer along our Premier League teams in season 2008. By attending these matches you will witness football being played at the highest level in the GHFA competition.
Premier League has two major sponsors for season 2008, Bakers Delight and Jonnies Pizza and Pasta. We welcome both of these new sponsors to the club. Their sponsorship will be spent on outfitting the players in new polo shirts and a new playing strip.
The Premier League squad will be coached by Petros Menelaou who is looking forward to build on last season's results.

PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON 2007
Mid way through the first round Thornleigh's 1st grade team was on top of the competition and the reserves mid table. Unfortunately we lost several of our players to injury and work relocations during vital parts of the season.
At season end 1st grade finished in 5th place on 31 points, 12 points more than last season. Reserve grade finished in 6th place on 22 points. This was an excellent result after finishing 9th last year on 12 points.
