Thornleigh Sports and Recreation Club Inc. Committee

As an incorporated organisation the Thornleigh Sports and Recreation Club has an elected Committee. This Committee exists separately to the Committees that manage the individual sports.

The purpose of this Committee is to:

• Act in accordance with legal requirements of an incorporated organisation
• Coordinate Club-wide responsibilities of
  • Insurance and compensation,
  • Publicity, advertising and sponsorship,
  • Liaison with Hornsby Shire Council, NSW Department of Sports and Recreation, local NSW Parliamentarians, other community-based organisations
• Provide guidance and support to Divisions on specific issues as required
• Resolve inter-Divisional issues
• Fund the 10 year Awards for children and end-of-season plaques

Funding for Committee activities is based on a financial levy on all registered players in all Divisions.
