Thornleigh Baseball Club runs as a division of the Thornleigh Sports Club. The other divisions of Thornleigh Sports Club cover Soccer, Softball, Netball, Basketball and Cricket.

Thornleigh Baseball Club was established in 1979 at which time it entered teams in what was then the two year old Ku-ring-gai Baseball Club competition. Over the years and under various League name and structural changes, this has evolved to the current competitions we are now associated with.

Junior teams in the Thornleigh Baseball Club play in competitions run by the Ryde Hornsby Baseball League (RHBL). Seniors play in competitions officiated by Pacific Coast Baseball League (PCBL).

RHBL & PCBL set the competition draw, and arrange certain insurances. They also run coaching, umpiring and scorer clinics from time to time. PCBL also coordinate game umpires for the senior games. Throughout the season team fixtures, match results and progressive point's tables, as well as other general and relevant baseball information can be obtained from:

TRY BASEBALL : Are you looking for a fun, safe and active sport for your children this Summer Season? Why not consider BASEBALL? Thornleigh Baseball is again running TRY BASEBALL days so children considering a Summer sport can have a go before they register. Sunday 27th July and Sunday 3rd August. THORNLEIGH LIGHTNING LEAGUE : The Lightning League is an initiative of Thornleigh Baseball. It has been introduced to increase the fun and participation of U7 players in the game of Baseball. View this PDF Thornleigh Lightning League-with pictures.pdf for photos and more information.

BASEBALL AWARD : Thornleigh Baseball has been awarded the inaugural CLUB OF THE YEAR award by the Ryde-Hornsby Baseball League. The award was introduced to encourage and recognise clubs that seek to develop/foster the sport of baseball within their local communities. Thornleigh Baseball's programs to introduce baseball to children of all ages have been very successful, with the number of registration last season increasing by 50%. The club is seeking to build on this success again this season. The club would like to thank all parents who help during the season, as their contributions assisted the club to win the CLUB OF THE YEAR award.
