Thornleigh Netball Club was first established in 1968 when Netball was known as "Women's Basketball" and was played weekly during the winter months against a handful of other clubs from the district. The Club has continued to grow throughout the years and currently plays in the Hills District Netball Association competitions at the Pennant Hills Sporting Complex in Brittannia Road, Pennant Hills.

Founded in 1954 with just one team, over half a century later Thornleigh Thunder FC is still providing the necessary infastructure to allow thirty teams of both sexes, ages from U/6 to O35 and Premier League to play the game of soccer.  The club caters for all levels of ability and prides itself on promoting the ideas of the need to compete, not necessarily win.

Softball

The Softball Division has been functioning since 1995, having been resurrected after a long break. The division participates in both a Summer and a Winter competition each year.

Our focus is primarily on the health and fitness of the community by providing quality sporting opportunities for children - the future of our community. However, plenty of adult men and women's teams exist and are well supported.
